A PAIR OF GEORGE I WALNUT STOOLS with upholstered rectangular seats, on cabriole legs ending in pad feet, with differing upholstery, 23.5" x 18" (2). Provenance: Glemham Hall, Suffolk. £5000-10000 These stools were almost certainly introduced to Glemham by Dudley North, Esq, when he refurnished the house in the 1720's.

An unsigned pencil drawing at Great Kew Park, Oxfordshire, inscribed in Bullock's hand "Plan of stove in dining room and oak study" appears to confirm the attribution to Bullock of this distinctive design, first made in the Exhibition Catalogue - "The Fashionable Fireplace".
