1914 STAR TRIO TO 10078 PTE R PATTERSON 2ND SEAFORTH HIGHLANDERS 1914 Star correctly impressed 10078 Pte R Patterson 2/Sea Highrs Pair correctly impressed 10078 Pte R Patterson Seaforth Condition GVF Robert Patterson was born in Dumfries; he joined the Seaforth Highlanders on 13th December 1906 in the pre-war years he spent three years serving as a Chauffeur. From November 1914 until April 1915 he was attached to the Army Service Corps Motor transport as a Fitter and Driver. He was discharged as he was suffering from Haemophilia.
