FINE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF SEATED SHAKYAMUNI, MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY, seated in dhyanasana, with his hands held in dhyana mudra, the hair tightly curled above elongated earlobes, the long robe open at the chest to revel a swastika motif, raised on a carved hardwood lotus base, 39.5cm high (not including wood stand) PROVENANCE: Private Surrey collection.
