Note: this dish is rare in its open format without a border, which has more in common with famille verte narrative chargers of the period. A similar dish was extant at Clandon Park until it was stolen in 2010. Another is recorded in the Musee Guimet, Paris. The execution of painting can also be compared to a set of dishes in the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.
