Duke’s are proud to offer a collection of fine collectables, furniture and works of art from the Estate of the late Worcester based dealer Richard Pratley. Richard’s family Shop, G R Pratley and Sons, was located at the centre of Worcester high street since its origins in 1880 until its closure in 2011. Richard’s legacy of taste and connoisseurship covers a broad range of styles and disciplines, largely focused around the decorative and the vernacular. Within the collection there is a clear and consistent regard for originality. Part of Richard’s devotion was to ensure that within both his shop and personal collection each piece was celebrated within a carefully constructed environment. Duke’s hope to reflect this aim when offering the group in two curated parts, the first to appear in their Interiors Auction on Thursday October 13th at 10.30am.
