A GREAT WAR - FAMILY CASUALTY GROUP The men were brothers in law 1914 Star & Victory Medal - 6392 Pte D Niel G GDS. Condition GVF David Niel was born in Monkwearmouth, Durham. He landed in disembarked on 12th August 1914 and was sadly killed in action 23rd June 1916. Niel was laid to rest in Essex Farm Cemetery. Pair - 134081 Spr P Glasgow RE. Condition EF
