A CHARLES I OAK COURT CUPBOARD, basically circa 1640, the upper section with a shelf carved with a band of guilloche over a shaped apron, on carved caryatid supports, the rear supports carved with upright stiff leaves, the base with a pair of rectangular panelled cupboards carved with adorsed scaly sea creatures within carved and incised borders, separated by three leafy pilasters with gadrooned capitals and with a band of an upper register of strapwork and a lower register of guilloche incorporating stylised flowerheads, the legs carved with strapwork, 48.5" wide x 17" deep x 48.75" high
